For busy business owners who don’t have the time to post on Instagram, you can now schedule your post in advance to post automatically on Instagram. Earlier this year Sendible and Tailwind announced their users can now automatically post content to Instagram without having to login and manually push the content through. Hootsuite and Later have now joined the exclusive group providing this service.
By using the new Instagram API, these social media management tools are the few with approved access to use their tool to sync and post pictures automatically on the platform as this wasn’t allowed before.
But wait. There is a CATCH!
Before you go off and start using these tools, there are a few restrictions you should know about.
1. The service is only available to business profile pages
2. You can only automatically post one picture per post (no multiple pictures or videos)
3. You can’t tag people in your post except in the caption
4. You won’t be able to set a location tag
5. Hootesuite and Later are the only ones from the tools listed that offer free use of the service (30 pics per month and a maximum of 3 social media platforms sync for Hootesuite) Sendible and Tailwind charge for this. .
To get started make you go through the proper settings, sync and give permission to the app to take the action. Happy posting.
